Petrol Prices Cut by Rs. 2 / 50 p Per Litre- Punjab Should Reduce its Highest VAT



It is a Gift on Labour Day / Maharashtra / Gujarat Day  .

Petrol price in Punjab is still nearly Rs. 8 Per Litre more expensive than in Haryana. Petrol rate  in Punjab should be at Par with Haryana rate ( as it is sourced by both states  from the same set of refineries ) .


In Punjab , Petrol is nearly Rs. 8 Per Litre more expensive than in neighbouring Haryana ( although sourced from common set of refineries ). Diesel is cheapest in Punjab in whole of India
BJP in Punjab which was supporting withdrawal of Wealth Tax provisions for Super Rich Farmers , should now launch an agitation for bringing petrol prices in Punjab at Haryana level.
Worldwide prices of Petrol and Diesel are nearly same.

 Petrol ( Non Vote Banks` fuel ) is used by the Middle Classes in Mopeds , Scooters , Motor Cycles , Small Cars like Maruti 800, Tata Nano etc.

Diesel ( Vote Bank`s ) is used by the Rich in Luxury Cars ,SUV s. etc.

Physically Handicapped should be given Petrol @ cost price which is around Rs. 27 Per Litre.
