Fraudulent NRI ( Non Resident Indians )marriages involving Deceit , Multiple Marriages , Holiday Marriages , Dumping of Spouses continue to make Headlines in Jalandhar .
The latest case involves a resident of Chhota Saipur , an alleged fraud of Rs. 2 crore and subsequent disowning of spouse .and the unborn child.
Considering the extent of NRI Marriage Frauds , Govt. should make it mandatory for any prospective NRI to take prior Approval from the concerned DC for the Marriage. Secondly , all such Marriages should be Compulsorily Registered.
