How can any bankrupt and heavily indebted Punjab State Government finance the massive Freebies being promised to their chosen Vote Banks ?
No party or candidate is going to use their own money.

Why is Electricity @ Rs. 6 + per Unit charged when the rate in neighbouring Himachal Pradesh is around Rs. 3 Per Unit ?
Why are Urban Businessmen in Punjab charged Electricity at Penal Rates ( euphemistically termed as COMMERCIAL while on Vote Bank basis Electricity is being given Free to some ?
Why at the mushrooming Toll Tax Plazas are Nano and Maruti 800 cars charged at the same rate as a BMW ?
Why are Physically Handicapped NOT INCLUDED in the very Long List of those Exempted at the Toll Plazas ?
Why are Red Lights on Cars ( a major traffic hazard ) not checked ?

Team Anna would get over whelming support from the Middle Classes ans the Youth. The support for Team Anna is a bit covert and is getting unified by way of emails and SMS rather than show of strength in the streets.
Middle Class has emerged as the latest and most Powerful Vote Bank. Every act of corruption or Vote Bank Freebee is ultimately paid by the Middle Class which is the most hard working , most taxed and most discriminated against because , up till now , politicians did not consider the Middle Class as a Vote Bank and exploited the Middle Class to appease the known Vote Banks. For example in Punjab where Electricity is given Free to some on the basis of Vote Banks , electricity is given free to SC but not to Physically Handicapped Punjabis. Electricity is given Free to Farmers ( including those owning land worth hundreds of crores ) but Urban Businessmen are charged at PENAL rates euphemistically called COMMERCIAL category.Paid category of Electricity consumers are made to cross subsidise Free Consumers. Now , all the victims of this gross discrimination and step motherly treatment ( against what has been termed as Modern Day Jazia in Punjab ) would now become a Vote Bank , Vote Collectively , negotiate with traditional Vote Banks to end their exploitation and support Team Anna.
