Blank Cheques ( With Financiers ) Scandal in Jalandhar

Jalandhar citizens have expressed their gratitude to the leading newspaper " Dainik Bhaskar  Jalandhar" 's exposure of the manner in which certain gangsters buy unused blank chques from financiers , particularly , those cheques where the borrower has settled the account but was careless not to take back his blank cheques.

These gangsters then misuse the cheques to write the payee's name and amount as per their convenience. After this the cheques are sent foe collection . When they are dishonoured the cheats file false cases in the courts. Many a time the harried ex borrower  pays some amount to such blackmailers.
