Bharti Wal Mart has opened its Wholesale ( Kirana - Vegetable ) outlet in Jalandhar. this is their Third Unit in Punjab.
Bharti Wal Mart is a joint venture between Bharti Enterprises ( Airtel) and Wal_ Mart of USA. It would procure directly from farmers and supply to retailers. It is advising farmers to use minimum of chemical fertilisers and pesticides.
