There are alarming signals in Punjab ( Land of Five Rivers ). Newspaper reports carry reports of some villages not getting water even at 600 feet. People wish to leave their villages en mass. There were TV reports of alarming level of radio active material in drinking water of some parts of Punjab. In some villages there seems to infertility among women due to water.
People in Jalandhar and else where have shown deep concern over these ominous indications. They wish that their Punjab never becomes " BE _AAB ( Without Water )
