Quarterly Lok dalat Held in Jalandhar

In the Quarterly Lok Adalat held in Jalandhar on 24-04-10 6 benches took up 981 cases out of which 586 were decided .

This  Lok Adalat  was held under the supervision of Legal Services Chairman Cum District And Sessions Judge  Jalandhar Inderjit Singh.

Normally Lok Adalats are held on a quarterly basis . Any  Lok Adalat in between the scheduled Lok Adalat is called Pre Lok Adalat.

The " Award " of every Lok Adalat or Pre Lok Adalat is final and cannot be challenged in a trial court. Only in exceptional cases a petition may be made to the High Court.
