Massive Day Time Electricity Power Cuts in Jalandhar

There is global warming. March and April months are abnormally hotter. Government wishes to provide free electricity to farmers , many of whom have land holdings worth hundreds of crores. There is "unbundling" of Punjab State Electricity Board . But Government assures its vote bank that it would continue to give them free power by " cross subsidies " meaning the paid consumers would pay for the free consumers..

So the urban , paid consumers of electricity in Jalandhar gets Bills while the chosen ones get electricity ( free )
