Lok Adalat would be held on 20-02-2010 in the Judicial Complex Jalandhar . 10 benches are expected to hear around 1200 cases.
Lok Adalat / Pre Lok Adalat or any special Lok Adalat have become a very popular forum for speedy and cheap justice. Entire process is based on mutual consent and compromise. Here , the litigants can freely interact with the judicial officers even without lawyers.
There is a finality attached to the decree ( AWARD ) of the Pre Lok Adalat / Lok Adalat.
