Jalandhar's educational institutions took the lead in observing World Aids Awareness Day on 01-12-09.Various forms of campaign like staging plays , tying of red ribbon, posters etc. were undertaken.It was emphasised that the best way to beat AIDS is prevention.
Lyallpur Khalsa College Jalandhar , Lovely Professional University ( LPU ), Jalandhar Educational institutions of St. Soldier group, Kanya Maha Vidyalaya , ( KMV ) Jalandhar , Lyallpur Khalsa College For Women, Jalandhar were among the many institutions which observed the AIDS Day.
