" Bandh "Jalandhar Ends- Heavy Police Deployment

The " Bandh " in Jalandhar was effective. School and colleges were closed. There were very few vehicles on main roads and shops were largely shut.Petrol pumps were , also, closed.

There was heavy police deployment. Some people were seen moving around to ensure the " Bandh ".
