Lok Adalat in Jalandhar on 12-09-09

Lok Adalats would be held in Jalandhar courts on 12-09-09. In Lok Adalats decrees are passed on the basis of compromise and conciliation. Litigants can freely interact with the judges even without lawyers. There is no court fees.

The decree of every type of Lok Adalat / Pre Lok Adalat ( Award ) is final . There is no appeal against it and it cannot be challenged in any trial court.
