Village Parasrampur hosted a " Kabaddi Open Tournament ' on the occasion of " Shahidi Jor Mela " in the memory of great martyr Baba Banda Singh Bahadur.. In an exciting final Village Parasrampur defeated the team of Village Lakhan captained by Padda.
The tournament was organised by Prabandhak Commitee and its chief Sponsor was Harjinder Singh Dhanoa. Chief guests were Sant Baba Karam Singh of Dera Sant Sagar Johalan and Sant Baba Harcharan Dass of Dera Sachkhand Uchaa.
Among the hosts were were many prominent personalities namely , office bearers of the Prabandhak Committee ; Sita Ram ; Jaswant Rai ; Lakhvinder Lakha ; Banarasi Dass ; Jasbir Singh ; Sumiter Singh ; Gurmel ;Malkit Singh and many others.
Among the worthy guests who were honoured on this occasion were Roshan Prince ; AS Kochhar Sohi Sahib and Film Director Sukhmider Singh Dhanjal.
