There is no need to panic regarding swine flu in Jalandhar. 13 suspected cases reported so far mainly relate to students of Guru Amar Das Public School who had returned from an educational trip from abroad.Doctors from National Institute of Communicable Diseases, Delhi are helping local Govt. doctors in treating the patients who are in an isolation ward. Deputy Commissioner, Ajit Singh Pannu and Civil Surgeon Jalandhar Dr. S.S. Walia are holding regular meetings. People and Govt. staff has been asked to keep a special watch on those who have travelled from affected countries like USA, Mexico and Canada.
