In 2008 automotive giant Mahandra & Mahindra Ltd. acquired the assets of Kinetic Motors. Now, it has relaunched all over the country including Punjab an improved version of Kinetic's automatic 125 cc scooter " Flyte". It is expected to be a great favourite in the automatic scooter segment which is currently dominated by Honda - " Activa ".
