Taliban's end seems near. Taliban has has caught the tiger by the tail. They have invited the wrath of the Sikhs by first demanding Jazia and later by destroying Sikhs' home. It seems Talibs ( which means students ) have learnt nothing from History.
If any Ruler or Community which had effectively dealt with the areas of Taliban ( NWFP etc. ) it was under Shere-e- Punjab, Maharaja Ranjit Singh and his legendary General, Hari Singh Nalwa.
The famous dialogue of Gabbar Singh in film" Sholay " " So Ja Bete Nahin To Gabbar Aa Jaye Ga "is originally about Gen. Hari Singh Nalwa. Such was the fear of Gen Nalwa that Afghan mothers warned their infants " Khufta Shu ( Sleep ) Aamad Baba Haria ( or else Baba Hari Singh comes )
( It is , also, a matter of great pride for India that Gen Nalwa is great great grand father of mother of Abhinav Bindra- Winner of Olympics Gold Medal in Shooting ).
