Seminar on Women's Rights --Sessions Judge Chief Speaker

Mr.Gurdev Singh, District and Sessions Judge, Jalandhar who is , also, Chairman of District Legal Services Authority, was the chief speaker at a seminar held at Nari Niketan, Nakodar Road, Jalandhar City.The topic was "Legal Rights of Women ". The seminar was chaired by District Legal Services Authority, Secretary, Gurmit Kaur, ( Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate ). Other luminaries who participated included Dr. Amita Sharma, Parminder Beri, Varinder Aggarawal, Advocate, Anjana Talwar,General Secretary Nari Niketan Trust.

District and Sessions Judge informed that a special cell has been created in every district to look into complaints of physical abuse / sexual harassment of women.In Jalandhar district, this cell is chaired by him. Victims can contact him directly.
