Effigies of Taliban leaders were burnt in Company Bagh, Jalandhar to protest against levy of Jazia and other atrocities by Taliban in NWFP and other area of Pakistan. These anti Taliban protests were staged by Sahib-e- Kamal and Sikh Youth Council led by Amandeep Singh, Gurdip Singh Dilbagh Singh, Tejinder Singh and others. They demanded that Indian Govt. to take up forcefully with Pakistan Govt. the issue of atrocities on Sikhs.
