Mohinder Singh Kaypee Wins Jalandhar Lok Sabha Seat- Set to Become Minister

Mohinder Singh Kaypee of Congress Party has won the prestigious Jalandhar Lok Sabha seat. He defeated the renowned Punjabi singer, Hans Raj Hans of the Akali Dal- BJP combine by a margin of 35,000 votes. Hans Raj Hans put up a tough fight in the rural areas. But Kaypee got significant and decisive lead in urban areas.

There was jubilation and celebrations in the Congress camp. Congress supporters performed Bhangra to the beats of the Punjabi Dhol.

Considering the stature and political / administrative experience of Mohinder Singh Kaypee, it is widely expected that he would be included in the Union Cabinet.
