Campaigning in Jalandhar Ends Today- Advantage : Mohinder Singh Kaypee

Jalandhar goes to polls in the fifth and final phase of voting on Wednesday ( 13-05-09 ). Campaigning for this very prestigious seat ends to-day. According to political observers Congress's stalwart and state Congress President,Mohinder Singh Kaypee is at an advantage over the Akali Dal- BJP candidate and renowned Punjabi singer Hans Raj Hans.

Mohinder Singh Kaypee is an experienced politician. He is "Mr. Clean" and has never been involved in any controversy. He is very popular among the electorate, including youth.

Further, all power groups with in the Congress Party have solidly backed Kaypee. Punjabis feel very proud of having Dr. Manmohan Singh as India's Prime Minister. Punjab has had an unbroken history of electing alternate parties in every election. Last time Akali- BJP combine won. This time it is Congress' turn.
