Traffic Challans in Tehsils' Jurisdiction- To Be Settled by Tehsil Courts

Some time back the authorities decided that traffic challans from all over Jalandhar District would be decided only at the office of District Transport Office, which is situated at DC Compound , Jalandhar. So, offenders in outlying cities and villages had to come all the way to Jalandhar.

To provide relief to traffic offenders in outlying areas, it has been decided that such cases would go to the Tehsil Courts, as was the practice some time back.
