Poll schedule for Lok Sabha elections has been announced . Voting in Punjab would take place in May.
This time Jalandhar has been declared a Reserved seat.
Akali Dal - B.J.P. combine has, already, announced Punjabi Music Star, Hans Raj Hans as their candidate.
Congress may announce its candidate any time now. The names which have been shortlisted are :- Mohinder Singh Kaypee ; Shamsher Singh Dullo and Ch. Santokh Singh.
