Jalandhar Civil Hospital Strenghens Fire Control Systems

In the aftermath of tragedy at Patiala in which 5 babies perished in a fire, medical authorities made checks of the incubators and fire control systems at the Civil Hospital, Jalandhar.According to Dr. Ashok Nayyar, Medical Superintendent, Civil Hospital that there is regular checking and proper maintenance of all equipment.

Patiala tragedy has caused deep anguish not only in Punjab but in the entire country. It has been widely covered in electronic media. It has, also, served as a wake up call for other hospitals, both government and private.
