Lok Sabha elections are a couple of months away. Simultaneously, bye poll for Nurmahal Assembly would , also, be held.
So, Congress selected Nurmahal to informally launch its poll campaign from a massive rally at Ram Lila Ground , Nurmahal ( Jalandhar ). All the top leaders, including Punjab Congree President Mohinder Sngh Kaypee, Former Chief Ministers Capt. Amarinder Singh and Rajinder Kaur Bhattal were present.
