Truckers' Strike impacts Vegetable Prices

Vegetables are perishable. They have to be trasported quickly to the consumers.

Current truckers' strike has resulted in a steep rise in prices of vegetables like onions ( Maharashtra) which are brought in from outside . Conversely vegetables which are transported outside have accumuated here and their prices have fallen sharply.
