Long Electricity Power Cuts in Jalandhar

Jalandhar is, these days, reeling under very long power cuts during day time. These range from 4 to 6 hours daily.

It is very frustrating for all. In these days of Computers and Online connections it is very difficult to work. U.P.S. and Inverter / Battery trade, seems to be having a field day.

Banks have generators for back up. But its fluctuations/ voltage do not allow computers / printers to operate. So. only half work is done during the power cut. For res- only after the electricity supply resumes. At times customers buying Bank Drafts are asked to come in the evening as printers do not work on generators.
