Commissioner Jalandhar To Hold Weekly " Sangat Darshan " For Redressal of N.R.I.'s Problems

Commissioner , Jalandhar Division has been vested by the Punjab Government , with the powers to resolve NRI related matters.

Commissioner , S.R. Ladharh , has decided to hold weekly " Sangat Darshan " for NRIs to resolve their grievances. ,on every Wednesday from 10 A.M. to 12 Noon and has directed all the officials to dispose of matters relating to NRIs within two weeks.

On 17-12-08 ,the Commissioner heard 7 complaints ( 4 complainants present in person , 3 lodged on telephone).During the hearings , In charge N.R.I. Sabha ,Sucha Singh and Ex President Giani Resham Singh were , also , present.

The Commissioner has asked N.R.I.s not to forward ,in the "N.R.I. Sangat Darshan " those complaints which are , currently , sub-judice as these can only be decided by the those courts where they are pending..
