Severe cold is sweeping across Punjab with temperature 2* c below normal. In the morning, there was a heavy fog in Jalandhar making driving on the roads very difficult . The sunshine appeared only about 1 p.m.
Amritsar was the coldest in the region followed by Adampur ( Jalandhar )
