Rs.200 Crore Upgrade For Burlton Park ,Jalandhar

Local Bodies Minister , Minister ,Manoranjan Kalia and Jalandhar Mayor, Rathore unveiled a Rs.200 crore renovation plan for the local 52 acre Burlton Park . The upgradaton would begin next year and would be under the aegis of Punjab Cricket Association. Reputed Britain based architects have been appointedn as consultants.

A world class Hockey stadium , Swimming Pool , Cricket Stadium ,a Five Star Hotel ,Multi storey Parking and Shopping Complex have been planned in the Burlton Park Complex.

This scheme would be a very apt gift to the Sports City of India .

Sansarpur Village adjoining Jalandhar Cantt ( home of Hockey Legend Udham Singh )has been famous as the Nursery of Indian Olympic Hockey . The current cricket star Harbhajan Singh ,also , Jalandhar's Sporting Pride.

With such massive investment areas around Burlton Park like Gulab Devi Road and Old G.T. Road would see a sizable appreciation in property rates.
